§ IStory

Incorporated 2019.

BCorp Worldwide Ltd was incorporated on 30 May 2019 as a private limited company in Mauritius. The company works across import, export, and re-export, with a focus on the India and China lanes into Mauritius and on Mauritius-led re-export into Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

Operational forwarding work is coordinated through a network of licensed Mauritian freight forwarders, customs brokers, and trucking partners. The consultancy arm is the primary commercial face today; the managed logistics arm follows the consulting engagement when restructured trade flows require operational coordination.

Patrick Bouquet,
Director.

With over twenty-five years of experience in freight and logistics across Mauritius and the Indian Ocean region, Patrick has built a strong track record in managing complex, large-scale operations. His signature achievement includes overseeing the transportation, handling, and delivery of 18 tram units for the Mauritius national tramway project.

Patrick previously served as Managing Director of FAMS Air and Sea (Mauritius) Ltd, where he led end-to-end logistics operations across Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. Prior to this, he held the role of Country Manager at both UTi (Mauritius) Ltd and DSV Air & Sea (Mauritius) Ltd, gaining extensive expertise in international freight management.

He has also contributed to industry development through his involvement on the board of the Association Professionnelle des Transitaires (Mauritius' freight forwarders association), and as an active member of MEXA (Mauritius Export Association) and MCCI (Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

He previously served as Board Member and Assistant Treasurer of the Mauritius Sailors' Home Society, and as a Board Member of the Apostleship of the Sea, resigning from these positions in March 2025 upon his appointment as Chairman of the Seafarers' Welfare Fund.

§ IIIPartner Network

Network model.

Forwarding operations are executed in partnership with a network of licensed freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers across our active trade lanes. This network model gives our clients best-fit routing for each consignment, independent of any single carrier or operator's commercial interests.

For each consignment the routing decision is driven by what suits the cargo rather than by any pre-existing operator preference. Customs clearance is run by appointed Mauritian brokers; inland distribution and warehousing by transport partners selected for the relevant zone.

§ IVSustainability

Coordination, not equipment.

We coordinate trade rather than operate equipment, which limits our direct emissions footprint to office and travel. Where carrier choice is open, we favour direct sailings over transhipped routings and consolidated containers over half-empty boxes, both of which usually reduce per-tonne emissions alongside reducing cost.
