With over twenty-five years of experience in freight and logistics across Mauritius and the Indian Ocean region, Patrick has built a strong track record in managing complex, large-scale operations. His signature achievement includes overseeing the transportation, handling, and delivery of 18 tram units for the Mauritius national tramway project.
Patrick previously served as Managing Director of FAMS Air and Sea (Mauritius) Ltd, where he led end-to-end logistics operations across Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. Prior to this, he held the role of Country Manager at both UTi (Mauritius) Ltd and DSV Air & Sea (Mauritius) Ltd, gaining extensive expertise in international freight management.
He has also contributed to industry development through his involvement on the board of the Association Professionnelle des Transitaires (Mauritius' freight forwarders association), and as an active member of MEXA (Mauritius Export Association) and MCCI (Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
He previously served as Board Member and Assistant Treasurer of the Mauritius Sailors' Home Society, and as a Board Member of the Apostleship of the Sea, resigning from these positions in March 2025 upon his appointment as Chairman of the Seafarers' Welfare Fund.
