- Parties
These terms apply between BCorp Worldwide Ltd (a Mauritian private limited company, File No. C164990, BRN C19164990, registered office 24 A, Cactus Ave., Morc. Rey, Pointe aux Sables 11121, Mauritius) and any visitor, customer, or freight-forwarding partner who uses this website or engages BCorp commercially.
- Scope of services
BCorp Worldwide provides trade consultancy and coordinates managed-logistics operations. Operational forwarding work is executed in partnership with licensed Mauritian freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers. BCorp acts as the customer's coordinator and not as the contracting carrier.
- Quotations
Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation document and are subject to space and rate availability at the time of booking. Surcharges (BAF, CAF, ISPS, war-risk, peak season, GRI, low-sulphur, currency adjustment) and any duties / VAT payable in Mauritius or the origin country are passed on at cost unless stated otherwise.
- Booking and acceptance
A booking is accepted when BCorp issues a written confirmation. The customer is responsible for ensuring that supplied cargo descriptions, weights, dimensions, customs values, and HS classifications are accurate.
- Payment terms
Invoices are payable within the credit terms stated on the invoice. Default payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Overdue amounts may accrue interest at the rate stated on the invoice. The customer's credit limit may be reviewed and adjusted; consignments may be held until overdue invoices are cleared.
- Customs and regulatory
BCorp coordinates Bill of Entry filings through licensed Mauritian customs brokers. The customer is responsible for ensuring that supplied commercial documentation matches the physical consignment. Duty and VAT assessed by the Mauritius Revenue Authority are payable by the customer on the consignment.
- Liability
BCorp Worldwide's liability for any single shipment is limited to the value of the BCorp fees attributable to that shipment, unless a higher liability cap has been agreed in writing or unless our Mauritian counsel's final review introduces a different default. Carrier and broker liability is governed by their respective contracts of carriage and customs powers of attorney.
BCorp Worldwide does not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss including loss of profit, loss of contract, or loss of market.
- Insurance
Cargo insurance is not included in our default scope. BCorp can arrange cargo insurance on request and a separate certificate of insurance will be issued. The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate insurance is in place before goods move.
- Confidentiality
Information exchanged in the course of a consulting engagement or an operational file is treated as confidential. Internal team members and necessary licensed partners may be given access on a need-to-know basis to deliver the service.
- Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or non-performance caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of state, port strike, carrier strike, severe weather, regulatory embargo, pandemic-related restriction, or armed conflict.
- Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Mauritian courts, unless the parties agree in writing to refer a dispute to arbitration.
- Changes
BCorp Worldwide may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged to active customers by email before they take effect.
